The National Guard Bureau’s State Partnership Program is a 31-year-old global initiative of 89 partnerships with 106 nations including 17 Indo-Pacific countries.The Washington Air National Guard is leading the way engaging with partners in the Indo-Pacific including Thailand and Malaysia. While at the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies Class XXXI went to Crete, studied and role-played this invasion, and recreated the British march to the south of the island for escape by sea.It was an incredible experience, and this War on the Rocks article reinforces the applicability of lessons learned in WWII to today’s most pressing strategic challenges.#strategy #history
