Our Products:

• Velt SDK: JS SDK to add powerful collaboration experiences to your own product for your end-users. This helps you ship such experiences ridiculously fast, increase user growth and engagement.
• Superflow: JS plugin to enable product, marketing and design teams to comment and collaborate directly on their websites. This helps them iterate and ship their products 10x faster.

What will be your charter:

Build our developer experience to be best in class. This includes building and improving end to end developer touch points with our product and company.

Sample projects you will work on during your first month:

• Improve our SDK docs to be more visual, interactive & helpful.
• Improve our developer facing SDK and API design to make it intuitive, readable & predictable eg: the callbacks, data models, method names etc.
• Manage release process and update customers about new releases.
• Manage large customer relationships.
• Iterate on our external messaging and presence to improve visits to trial conversion rates.
• Showcase use cases and case studies for target markets by building sample apps.

We are looking for the following four fits:

1. Startup stage fit:

• You have experience working independently with abstract problem statements.
• You have experience thriving in unstructured and ambiguous environment.
• You get excited about just delivering - whether it’s a juicy challenging problem or a dry boring problem.
• You have the ambition to be the best in your craft.

2. Problem fit:

• You are excited about the problem we are working on and have an opinion about the problem/solution.

3. Experience fit:

• You have Computer Science degree or Software Engineering experience. This is a developer product and needs someone who understands the developer mindset.
• You have worked with atleast one of the modern web frameworks like react, angular, vue etc.

4. Culture fit:

• You prioritize speed over perfection.
• You can explain difficult concepts to a 5 yr old.
• You are kind and can find common ground in difficult scenarios.
• You are hungry to learn and grow extremely fast.

Round 1: Interview with the founder (45 mins)

In this interview, I will deep dive into how you think, solve problems & work with other people. We will go deeper into specific examples from your past work experiences.

Round 2: One take home project (Few hours)

We will provide you with a small project to work on. You can work on this part time at your own pace. During the project you will have access to us, you can ping us if you have any questions.

Final Round: Present your project & Offer (45 mins + 45 mins)

In this round you present your project to us. Here, we are mostly interested in the approach you took to solve the problems you faced, any deep insights you learnt etc. Typically at the end of the presentation, we will make a decision or in some scenarios decide within 24 hrs and update you.
