The Course and Clubhouse
Established in 1896, our historic 18-hole chalk downland course provides a challenging and enjoyable game for golfers of all levels, with stunning panoramic country views, meticulously maintained greens, and a layout that integrates natural undulations and hazards. The course has excellent drainage, ensuring optimal playing conditions even after heavy rain, enabling us to keep the course open and playable for visitors and members year-round.
Our clubhouse provides an inviting environment where you can relax after a round of golf. Enjoy a meal or a drink at the bar or on the terrace overlooking the course and breathtaking rural landscapes. We offer a varied menu full of delicious local dishes, perfect for refuelling after a day on the greens. Our pro shop is well-stocked with all the essential gear and our friendly staff are always on hand to offer advice and assistance, making sure you have everything you need for a great game.

· Chesil Rocks, Weymouth – 20th-22nd June: annual music and arts festival with all proceeds going to the Samaritans
· Weymouth Food and Family Festival – 27th-28th July: with a live music stage, companion dog shows, cooking demonstrations, a chilli eating competition, circus skills workshop, dance performances and fun fair, there’s plenty to keep the whole family entertained
· Lyme Regis Regatta and Carnival – 2nd-10th August: a colourful carnival parade, live music, food stalls with international delicacies and a spectacular fireworks show
· Great Dorset Chilli Festival, Sturminster Newton – 3rd-4th August: for those who love spicy food and flavours, this event features a wide variety of chilli-based foods, cooking demonstrations and live music
