Terah The Geomancer's Location

V Rising: How To Find And Defeat Terah The Geomancer (2)

Terah the Geomancer can be found at the top of the Bedrock Pass plateau, in the northwestern section of the Dunley Farmlands. The Pass is a long winding road and contains a healthy supply of various ores and minerals for you to mine.

Directly south of the Bedrock Pass, you can find a Waygate. This will make it very easy to reach Terah the Geomancer.

However, one key enemy does patrol the Pass — a Stone Golem. You may have encountered these on your adventures so far, and you should remember them as a dangerous, high-health adversary.

The Golem will move slowly around the roads, and while it is extremely aggressive towards you, your best bet is to dodge its path or try to run past it and let it drop aggro. Otherwise, you can simply kill it as a warm-up for the boss.

Terah the Geomancer is always found in the same location, making it easy to find her.

What To Bring To The Fight

V Rising: How To Find And Defeat Terah The Geomancer (4)

The fight with Terah can be a bit tedious so, like always, be sure to bring HP-boosting potions, as well as a few to boost spell power and physical power. During this fight, it's important to have at least one ranged weapon to use.

Getting close to Terah can be dangerous at times, so you will want to have a ranged weapon in order to damage alongside your spells.

Spell Set Up

Multiple times throughout the fight with Terah the Geomancer, you will need to kill summoned enemies. If you are playing solo, this may be difficult, so we suggest using spells that summon allies. When Condemned enemies die from an Unholy spell, skeletons will be summoned. There are also a few other spells that summon entities that can fight alongside you.

Below, you can find some great spells to use during this fight.

  • Ward of the Damned
  • Power Surge
  • Veil of Illusion

We also suggest having Scholar-type blood during this fight (as well as pretty much every fight against a V Blood carrier). Scholar blood will boost your spell damage, which is great for this fight.

Battle Strategy

V Rising: How To Find And Defeat Terah The Geomancer (5)

Terah the Geomancer is a combat level 53 boss that will use Earth-based spells against you.

Beginning The Fight

Her first attack is to fire a simple Earth Bolt towards you, dealing light damage. This spell is nothing to worry about, but very quickly after engaging Terah, she will morph into her alternate form. Encasing herself within a circle of rocks, she will take reduced damage for a couple of seconds, before transforming into a massive Stone Golem.

This Golem is where the fight really begins, as it will smash the ground, causing rocks to bounce down in multiple areas. This can be tricky to dodge as there are numerous projectiles, and they will hit pretty hard. Try to retain your Travel Ability for this spell, as it can make your life significantly easier.

The Golem will also sink down into the earth, and cause a barrage of rocks to rain down from the sky. Moving away to a far distance should help you avoid this, but the projectiles are quite fast, so you will not have much time.

The Golem will smash the surrounding ground should you come close to it, dealing damage in an AoE and knocking you back. Because of this, you shouldn't approach the boss when she's in Golem Form, as she hits very hard and takes reduced damage from attacks.

Defeating The Three Earth Spirits

V Rising: How To Find And Defeat Terah The Geomancer (7)

The key to dealing with this powerful form is the three small Earth Spirits that Terah will summon after a few seconds of being a Golem. These are tethered to the boss by their souls, and the only way to turn Terah back into a human is to kill off all three. They will slowly lumber towards you and perform a frontal slash, which will deal low damage and knock you back.

These spirits have a decent amount of health, so it may take a little while for you to kill them, and the best strategy for this is to utilize any ranged abilities at your disposal.

After the spirits have been killed, Terah will persist in her Golem Form for a short while, before transforming back into a human. This is where you will want to go on the offensive, as she is significantly weaker, and you can play much more aggressively.

Terah can also summon her Earth Spirits while in human form, which will slowly walk around and perform their normal attacks. The key difference is that they aren't tethered to her, and are not required to be killed.

Sealing The Deal

Terah will keep turning back into her Golem form throughout the fight, and you will have to repeatedly kill off the spirits again and again. When she gets to around 15 percent health, Terah will begin channeling waves of rocks toward you. These travel extremely quickly, and the best way to avoid them is to run in a tight circle around her.

The fight is a difficult one, as Terah's attacks hit pretty hard, and you can be the victim of some nasty knockback combos. You will primarily want to stay at range, except when Terah is alone in her human form. Then, you can use a high-damage melee weapon to rack up some hits, but be ready to move away once she morphs into a Golem.

Terah The Geomancer's Rewards
